- JIU asks ZHI to assassinate the chief of the Manchurians, HUANG TAI JI. Along the way, HAN and NAN meet a eunuch sent from CHUN, LIU. They come to know that CHUN has been in league with the Manchurians for long. ZHI disguises himself as LIU and heads for Beijing. ZHI sees YU inside the Palace but he takes no action. ZHI breaks into the Palace and finds that GUN has an affair with JI’s concubine. GUN is so scared that he has killed JI. He just puts the blame on ZHI by claiming that ZHI is the murderer. YU runs after ZHI to capture him and in the meantime, QING appears and saves ZHI. ZHI successfully flees away but QING is caught. YU is going to rape QING but QING is fortunately rescued by NAN, just in time. QING supposes she has lost her virginity and is going to kill herself. ZHI saves her life and QING gets deeply touched. Their relationship is developing really well.
